• Obstetrics and Gynecology: Learn the intricacies of women’s health, including prenatal and postnatal care, and gain insight into childbirth and reproductive health.
• Pediatrics: Experience pediatric care, focusing on the medical needs of children from infancy through adolescence, and understanding the unique aspects of pediatric patient management.
• Clinical Medicine: Engage in the study of diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of common diseases and conditions, and develop essential clinical skills.
• Emergency Medicine: Work alongside emergency healthcare professionals to handle urgent and critical medical cases, providing immediate care to patients in high-pressure environments.
• Critical Care: Learn about intensive patient management in critical conditions, focusing on organ support, life-saving treatments, and multi-disciplinary care.
• General and Orthopedic Surgery: Observe surgical procedures, assist in pre-operative assessments, and learn about patient care in the surgical setting.

Key Features of the Pre-Med Program

The Pre-Med Program is designed to provide a well-rounded, intensive learning experience for aspiring medical professionals. Below are some of the key features of the program:

• Comprehensive Curriculum: The program covers a wide range of medical disciplines, ensuring students gain exposure to multiple facets of healthcare, including clinical specialties, patient care, and medical procedures.
• Hands-on Experience: Students engage in real-world healthcare settings, assisting doctors and nurses in daily tasks, observing medical procedures, and interacting with patients in clinical environments.
• Timings / Duty Hours:During elective rotations, medical students typically work shifts that can range from 8 to 12 hours, and these shifts can be scheduled during the day, night, or weekends, potentially including overnight call duties.
  Medical students undertaking clinical rotations will need to work shifts as would any practicing doctor. Shifts last between 8 and 12 hours and can be scheduled during the day, night-time or weekend. Students may also be asked to be on call, depending on the medical settings
• Personalized Mentorship: Each student is paired with an experienced mentor who provides guidance, support, and advice throughout the program, ensuring they receive personalized attention and professional insights.
