Our Dentistry Program offers an immersive and comprehensive foundation in dental science, clinical practice, and patient care. This program equips students with the practical and theoretical knowledge necessary to excel in various dental specialties, from preventive care to advanced surgical procedures.

Core Dental Specialties
The Dentistry Program provides students with exposure to a broad range of dental fields, including: General Dentistry, Orthodontics, Periodontics, Oral Surgery, Endodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry, and Prosthodontics.
Key Skills and Training
Throughout the Dentistry Program, students develop critical skills and gain hands-on experience in the following areas:
- Conducting thorough clinical dental exams and patient assessments
- Performing common dental procedures such as cleanings, fillings, extractions, and crowns
- Assisting in oral surgeries like wisdom tooth extractions, dental implants, and periodontal treatments
- Educating patients on proper oral hygiene, preventive care, and lifestyle choices
- Providing orthodontic care, including advice on braces, aligners, and retainers
Hands-on Experience
Our students receive invaluable hands-on training in our state-of-the-art dental clinics, including:
- Practical experience in conducting dental exams, performing routine procedures, and assisting in advanced surgeries
- Mastering the art of dental radiology, including the use of X-rays and interpreting dental images for diagnosis
- Learning advanced sterilization techniques and ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for both patients and staff
- Building relationships with patients and learning how to provide empathetic care and comfort throughout treatments
- During elective rotations, medical students typically work shifts that can range from 8 to 12 hours, and these shifts can be scheduled during the day, night, or weekends, potentially including overnight call duties.
Medical students undertaking clinical rotations will need to work shifts as would any practicing doctor. Shifts last between 8 and 12 hours and can be scheduled during the day, night-time or weekend. Students may also be asked to be on call, depending on the medical settings

- Prosthodontics, including crowns, bridges, and dentures
